This picture was just sent to me by the client. Chickens remain a very popular image. This one is from my Shop page.
This is the latest in my Bark & Birds series of acrylic paintings. It’s #31 in the series, 14.5” x 18.5”, priced at $500. I was fascinated by the way gingko leaves grow not just off the tips of the twigs like most trees, but also right out of the main branches and the trunk. And I couldn’t resist putting the juncos on there just for the title. You can see the rest of the series at www.paullewingart.com.
This is another painting I just finished. It’s 20” x 16”, and it’s from a picture I took a couple of years ago on a hike to Red Pass. I was really struck by the light and how it made the four trees each a completely different color.
This is a sign I made for guy’s car collection. It’s based on a London subway exit sign. He says he’s going to put a frame on it, so I’ll probably be posting another shot of this one before too long.
This is an acrylic painting I just finished. It’s 24” x 36”, for $1800.
I’ll be teaching a workshop entitled China Painting: New Directions at Plinth Gallery, Denver, CO, July 15-17, 2022. Contact Jonathan Kaplan, jonathan@plinthgallery.com or 303-909-5488.
I’ve been making logo tiles for this company for several years, but they changed to design. Before it was just the one word Stark in blue, but they added a second line in smaller type and a second color, so we decided to do them as a decal this time. Pretty easy!
The Northwest trifecta! And Mount Baker to boot! This little piece will be installed in a table top. It’s a combination of two images from my catalogue, resized to fit the space.
About a month ago I posted pictures of the signs I made for a new restaurant opening soon in Seattle, Maripili Tapas Bar. I just finished these additional 12’ x 12” tiles for them. They will go into insets in the front of the bar, surrounded by fields of white tile. The restaurant features food based on the Galicia region of Spain, so it’s heavy on seafood and has the emblem of the Santiago pilgrimage route.
This was an easy one. The client supplied me with a picture of this castle in Holland, Castle Geffen. I didn’t have to change the proportions or anything.
