Mt. Rainier/ Reflection Lake

This one is going into a niche in a wall. Back in 1994, I did 5 tile murals for this couple and they’ve just sold that house and moved into a condo. Unlike almost every mural I’m doing these days, this one is not china paint. It’s cone 4 oxidation glazes (not underglazes). Every color is a different glaze, and I invented the recipes for a lot of them. I counted 28 of them on this piece. The color in the photo is a little off toward yellow from what it really looks like.
